I've only really discovered your music this year, and it's been the best discovery of my life!! I can relate to almost every song so far, I'm driving everyone nuts , listening to "Hector" I've even started to learn Spanish, so I can know what he sang about, even though I can feel it spiritually . I am from Cali, Colombia where Salsa is in your DNA. I grew up listening to Hector Lavoe and it was his music that created family time in our household. My dad is a big salsero and we spent a lot of my childhood listening to Hector Lavoe. To this day, I get chills when I listen to his music and he will be a large part of my wedding playlist this year! Thank you Hector! You live on through the love of salsa!

Hector was one of my favorite singers,I loved him a lot. He inspire me with his vioce and his songs.I went to a couple of he's concerts at madison garden.He will be miss by many who loved him.still today his music lives on in the many life of others and in me....(R.I.P.)Hector,we love you!

Como Hector "laVoe" Perez nunca habra otro para comparar!!! El unico que llega cerca seria Mark Anthony...y por eso fue el que pudo hacer el portaje de la famosa pelicula "El Cantante" junto a la bellisima Jennifer Lopez. Que Viva!!!!
